Trip-indicating Auxiliary Contact AGM
The trip-indicating auxiliary contact is of particular importance. Two separate contact pairs
signal that the circuit-breaker is in the tripped position. One contact pair (normally open & normally
closed) signals general tripping and one pair signals tripping in the event of a short circuit. If the
normally open contact 4.43/4.44 and the normally closed contact 4.21/4.22 are connected in series, then it is
also possible to indicate overload tripping differentially.
